Today, we are delighted to welcome our friend, Tuan Uong - to the podcast. Tuan's formative years were spent in South Central LA, where he was the only Asian kid in a predominantly Hispanic, low-income neighborhood. He was raised single-handedly by his mother, a refugee from Vietnam.

Tuan earned his Bachelor's from UCLA, followed by a law degree at UC San Francisco. From there, he spent a decade as a litigation attorney doing corporate law at Reed Smith, a top global law firm.

Today, Tuan is a Litigation Attorney at Sessions, Israel & Shartle and has litigated hundreds of cases in state and federal courts. Tuan also undertakes pro bono work, notably suing the U.S. government on behalf of Vietnamese refugees and representing a Cambodian genocide survivor.
